Utah State University

Sam was part of the Wasatch High School team that won the 2021 state championship and also competed with Utah Surf as a winger and outside back. In addition to soccer, he tried his hand at track, competing in hurdles for a season.

He comes from a family of six children and is the second oldest. Soccer runs deep in his family—his father, Ron, played through high school and college, his brother spent time playing at Casper College as a left winger, and his sister currently plays at Wasatch while exploring college opportunities of her own.

He enjoys being outside and staying active, whether it’s hiking, skiing, or spending time with family. Currently undecided on a major, he chose USU Eastern as a place to further his education while continuing his passion for soccer.
