Marco Ortiz is a freshman forward and winger on the men's soccer team from Magna, Utah. He graduated from Cyprus High School.

During high school, Marco contributed to his team’s region championship win as a freshman and was selected for the first All-Region team his senior year. He has had a successful club career with UDA, winning the Wasatch Cup, President's Cup, and securing back-to-back seasons with his 04 team. Marco was also a finalist in the Park City Extreme Cup, President's Cup regional tournament, and a semi-finalist in the Las Vegas Thanksgiving Cup. He won the President's Cup again with his 05/06 UDA team and will be participating in the President's Cup regional tournament later this year.

His parents are Felix Ortiz and Margarita Ortiz. Marco has five siblings—four brothers and one sister—making for a total of six in the family.

Marco enjoys playing soccer, working on and learning about cars, and spending time with friends and family. He is attending USU Eastern to pursue his general education and continue playing soccer, with plans to transfer to a four-year university while furthering his education and athletic career.
