Conner Mitchell

Conner Mitchell is the Boys Head Soccer Coach at West High School in Salt Lake City, a position he has held since 2021. He also coaches the Utah Avalanche club team, a role he began in 2025, and previously led the UDA club in West Valley from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, Conner served as an assistant coach at Hunter High School during the 2020-2021 season.

Conner brings a wealth of playing experience to his coaching career, having competed at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. During his time there, he helped lead the team to its first-ever conference championship and conference tournament title in 2012.

As a coach, Conner has been instrumental in program milestones, including guiding West High School to a region championship in 2021, the first in the school’s history, while achieving a 34-31 overall record and mentoring five All-State players. He also contributed to Hunter High School’s region championship in 2021.

In addition to his coaching roles, Conner is in his second year volunteering with the men’s soccer team at Utah State Eastern, providing valuable support and expertise.

Conner holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah, earned in 2022. He and his wife, Makenna, reside in West Valley City, Utah with their four-year-old daughter, Nora, and are excitedly expecting a new baby girl in November.
