Bento Lima is a freshman on the men's soccer team, playing as a center back or right back. He hails from Rio de Janeiro and graduated from Saint Joseph Catholic High School.

In high school, Bento had a standout season in his junior year, where he was a state champion and earned spots on the All-Region, All-State First Team, and All-Area Second Team. He also gained experience playing in an academy in Brazil and participated in a major tournament in Spain.

His parents are Lilia and Leoni. Bento has an older sister who graduated from the University of Washington. His grandfather played professionally in Brazil for three years in a top division team.

In his free time, Bento enjoys hanging out with friends, playing video games, and engaging in soccer-related activities such as soccer tennis and "footvolley." He plans to pursue a degree in a field related to sports, such as physical therapy or training, and chose USU Eastern to further his education while continuing to develop his soccer career.
