Biography
2017: Started all 25 games for Wisconsin-Superior as a freshman. Earned an All-UMAC Honorable Mention. He averaged 15.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game and shot 46.2 percent from the floor in his only season at the Division III level.
High School: Played for the Brazilian National U-17 and U-18 teams. Won back-to-back state championships for the club team Pinheiros Club. In 2015 was named U-17 state player of the year.
Personal: Enjoys playing video games and cooking away from the court. Parents are Eliane Munford dos Santos Monteiro and Joao Gomes Monteiro.
