High School:  During his senior year they were the 3A State Champions, and he recieved multiple individual awards including; 3A Conference Player of the Year, 3A Central Region MVP, and he had over 1,000 total career points.  In his senior season he averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game.

Personal:  He is the son of Heidi and Dirk.  His mom, Heidi, played volleyball at Ricks College, and his dad, Dirk, played basketball at Ricks College.  He is the oldest of 9 kids, with 6 boys and 3 girls.

Dyson served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Salem, OR and Salvador, Brazil missions. He is majoring in Biology and plants to attend medical school after his undergraduate degree.
