Biography
High School: In high school he was the leading scorer his sophomore through senior year; sophomore year 21 ppg, junior year 19 ppg and senior year 23 ppg. He played in the state tournament 3 out of 4 years and brought his school 2 3rd place trophies and a runner up his senior year. He won several Most Valuable Basketball Player awards, led his team in assists for 3 years and was captain for 3 years as well. He also played football, he was a 4 year varsity started at quarterback, scoring 130 touchdowns in 4 years. During his sophomore and junior years he was selected to multiple All-State and All-Conference positions. His senior year he was Idaho State Player of the Year, scoring 50 touchdowns and having 3500 all purpose yards tacking on a state championship win that year. He was also his team leader in tackles and interceptions as he started as linebacker for 3 years.Â
Personal: His parents are Dolly and Frank Power, they had 6 kids; 4 boys and 2 girls. He got to play 2 years od sports with his older brother and 2 with his younger. Him and his little brother won a championship in football as the best quarterback wide receiver brother duo in the state. His mother is an OB nurse at the hospital nad his father manages a medical supply company that specializes in home oxygen.Â
He came to USUE to get his foot in the door for college sports. He has always wanted to play college and that the main reason for coming. He enjoys throwing the football and riding dirt bikes. He likes to go camping and fishing.Â
