Biography

Sydney Morris, a pitcher and outfielder from Langley, B.C., Canada, is a freshman on the USU Eastern softball team.

Sydney played for the White Rock Renegades for the past six years, where she earned a bronze medal in the 2023 B.C. Provincials and a gold medal with her B.C. Summer Games team in 2022. Academically, she was on her school's honor roll for the past two years in grades 11 and 12.

Her parents are Brent and Kylie Morris, and she has one younger sibling, Lauryn, who is four years younger. Sydney's family has a strong connection to the softball community and has been involved in the sport for as long as she can remember.

Sydney is currently studying General Science, with plans to attend law school after earning her bachelor's degree to become a lawyer. She enjoys camping and spending time outdoors. She chose to attend USU Eastern because of its excellent softball program and coaching staff.
