Earned first team 5A southern Idaho conference as a junior for utility player. Second team 5a southern Idaho conference as a senior for pitching. 5a all star. Helped eagle high win 2016 5A southern Idaho conference district championship. Played 3 years of varsity baseball at Eagle HS.

Son of Suzanne and Robert Nichols, and they have four kids - all boys. Two older brothers and one younger brothers who grew up playing football, baseball, basketball, wrestling, skiing, and pretty much anything outdoors.

Max enjoys anything that has to do with the outside. He loves the outdoors and what it has to offer for activities. He plans on studying Physical Therapy or something that has to do with sports medicine and chose to come to USU Eastern because he got a scholarship to play baseball here and it’s been really helpful for me.
