Manny joins the USU Eastern baseball team for his sophomore year, after a year off due to injuries.  Manny has been through an assortment of baseball injuries over the years, yet still has the desire to play the game.  As a junior in high school Manny had a line drive hit him in the face.  After some quality surgery, he chose to continue on playing the game that he loved so much.  Manny looks to get a degree in radiology after his playing career comes to an end.  He works hard every day to improve himself as well as those around him.  Manny comes to us from Grantsville High School where he resided with his mother Julia B. Mendez.
