Biography
Lauryn Hall, a freshman outfielder/utility player from Kaysville, Utah, is joining the USU Eastern softball team.
Lauryn played for Davis High School, where she initially played infield positions, including shortstop and third base, before transitioning to the outfield her junior year. In her senior year, she earned several accolades, including All-Region First Team, All-State Honorable Mention, and All-Area Honorable Mention. She was also named team captain and was part of the 6A Region 1 championship team. Lauryn graduated with high honors and was recognized as Academic All-State.
Lauryn is the daughter of Curtis and Tiffani Hall and has three siblings: Griffin, Alexa, and Preslee. Her grandfather coached college football at the Division 1 level, and her father played baseball at the University of Utah.
In college, Lauryn plans to complete her associate degree and then decide on her next steps. She chose to come to USU Eastern to grow both as a person and a player. Outside of softball, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, playing basketball, shopping, and spending time with her family.
