He has four siblings, parents Kalin and Hollie Hall met at BYU where he was playing football and she was doing gymnastics. His oldest brother played football at BYU and his other brother Jaren is playing football and baseball at BYU right now.

Dawsen wants to become a pilot after he graduates. He likes playing ping pong, playing basketball with his brothers, and spike ball. He also likes to boat and go on trips with friends.
