Julia Ivie, a freshman from Grafton, Massachusetts, brings a strong multi-sport background and a passion for athletics to the USU Eastern archery program. Growing up, she competed in softball and basketball throughout high school before rediscovering her love for archery during her senior year. With the help of Coach Howa and Raigen Scoville, Ivie developed her skills and earned the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.
Ivie is the daughter of Daina and Michael Ivie and has one brother, John. Her family has supported her throughout her athletic journey, attending her sports, school, church and other events and encouraging her to always do her best.
Outside of archery, Ivie enjoys swimming, singing, sewing, writing, playing sports and spending time with others. She plans to major in elementary education and is involved in USUSA student government, the college choir and Aggies Elevated. She chose USU Eastern because of its strong sense of community and culture and looks forward to growing as an athlete, student and member of the Eastern community.
