The Utah State Eastern Eagles returned home for their second match of the season against the Snow College Badgers. The first time these two met, the Badgers snuck away with a 1-0 win over the Eagles.
The match was heavily controlled by the Eagles in the first half, forcing a Snow save and earning three corner kicks. It was a 45th-minute goal, however, by Sariah Taeoalii, that gave Eastern a 1-0 lead as the teams made it to the halftime break.
Eastern continued their controlled attack in the second half, forcing two more saves by the Snow goalkeeper. Snow answered back in the 74th minute with a goal to even the match at 1-1. Despite strong last-minute attacks by both teams, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Next for the Eagles is a trip to Salt Lake City to take on the No. 4-ranked Salt Lake Community College on Oct. 9th.
