PRICE – Utah State Eastern Softball will take on the Colorado Northwestern Spartans in a single-elimination game on Wednesday in Taylorsville.

The winner of the game will advance to the next round of the Region XVIII Tournament held at Norma Carr Field on the Redwood Road Campus of Salt Lake Community College.

Wednesday's game will begin at 11 a.m. and can be seen live on the Scenic West Digital Network at scenicwestsports.com.

If the Eagles advance to the next round on Wednesday, they will take on number one seed Salt Lake at 1:30 p.m.

This is the third year of USU Eastern Softball and their third trip to the Region XVIII Tournament. The Eagles have not advanced past the semifinals of the tournament.
