Box Score PRICE, Utah – The women's basketball team were unable to get a victory in Ephraim Thursday night after losing to Snow College 62-50.

With the loss the Eagles now will likely be the fourth seed in next week's Region XVIII conference tournament. This was the fourth loss of the season to the Badgers and the first loss in two weeks for the Eagles.

For the fifth straight game freshman guard Madison Loftus scored at least 12 points. On Thursday Loftus led the Eagles in scoring with 19 points with 3 rebounds and 4 steals.

With the Eagles shooting only 36.4 percent from the field, the Badgers were able to build their lead with the help of efficient three point shooting. The Badgers finished the night shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc with eight made three's.

The Eagles attempted to cut the Badger lead to double-digits in the third but 11 turnovers in the period put the Badgers ahead 49-35.

Freshman forward Kaitlin Toluono scored in double figures again for the Eagle after finishing the night with 10 points and 5 rebounds. In the four games against Snow this season Toluono has averaged 12 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Sophomore Mateah Tuckett led the Eagles in rebounding against Snow with 8 total rebounds.

A positive sign for the Eagles going into the tournament was the return of freshmen Blanca Casamort Vila and Harlee WIlloughby. Both have missed time in the past month due to injuries.

The Eagles overall record sits at 15-14 and their conference record moves to 6-9 after Thursday night's loss.

Tomorrow night the Eagles will finish their regular season on the road against the College of Southern Idaho. The Eagles defeated CSI two weeks ago at home 75-68 when Loftus scored 24 points and made 5 three point shots.

The game against CSI will streamed live on live.ksl.com beginning at 3 p.m.
