Box Score PRICE, Utah – The Utah State Eastern women's basketball team falls to Snow College 67-48 Saturday in Ephraim.
The Eagles started the game with an impressive first quarter by taking a six point lead at the end of the period. In the first quarter the Eagle shot 66.7 % from the field and 75% from the three point line.
In the beginning of the second quarter the Snow Lady Badgers came back on a 15-2 run to build a 30-23 lead with 2:19 left in the half. The Eagles finished the second quarter though on a 6-0 run to be down 30-29 at halftime.
The second half was a completely different half for the Eagles. They allowed the Lady Badgers to score 20 points and shoot 66.3% from the field in the third quarter.
During the fourth quarter however, the Eagles fought hard to try to get back in the game but fell short. The Eagles were outscored 37-19 in the second half by the Lady Badgers.
The leading scorer for the Eagles was freshman
Kaitlin Toluono who scored 10 points while shooting 80% from the field. Freshman
Madison Loftus was held to only 9 points in the game which was the lowest for Loftus in the last seven games.
The Eagles overall record goes to 9-7 and 1-3 in conference with the loss to Snow.
They will have a quick turnaround this week as they take travel up north to Salt Lake Community College tomorrow to take on the Lady Bruins. The Eagles lost to SLCC a couple weeks ago 68-39 at home.

Chelsey Warburton hopes that her team can gain offensive momentum going into the matchup tomorrow after struggling the last few games.
"We struggled scoring points the last two games. As a team we need to be more offensive minded and look to score at all times," said Warburton.
