Coach Jones is entering his third season as assistant coach for the Utah State Eastern men's basketball team.
In 2017 he helped the Eagles reach the Region XVIII tournament semifinals and finish the season with a 18-13 overall record.
Before joining the USU Eastern staff in 2017, Coach Jones worked for his alma mater Southern Utah University helping with the Thunderbird basketball team.
Jones played professionally overseas for four seasons after his college career ended in 2012.
He played two seasons at SUU under Roger Reid and graduated with a degree in Communications. Prior to his career in Cedar City, Coach Jones played two years for Connors State College and helped the team reach the NJCAAÂ National Tournament twice.
