USU Eastern Athletics

Taylor Loveland serves as an assistant coach for the Utah State University Eastern dance team. Loveland works alongside Spirit Squad Director and Dance Coach Brandi Taylor-Johansen to develop the Eagles' dance program and prepare student-athletes for collegiate competition.

Loveland has been part of the USU Eastern dance coaching staff since at least the 2024-25 season. During the 2024-25 season, she helped guide the Eagles to the NDA College Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida, where the team earned silver medals in both jazz and hip-hop. The team also recorded the highest preliminary score of all participating schools in the jazz competition.

In addition to competition, Loveland helps prepare the dance team for performances and events throughout the year. She works with student-athletes as they develop their technical skills, performance abilities and teamwork while representing USU Eastern.

Loveland continues to contribute to the growth and success of the USU Eastern dance program as part of the Eagles' coaching staff.
