Jose Briseno serves as an Assistant Sports Information Director at Utah State University Eastern, where he assists with the day-to-day communications and media operations of the Eagles' athletic programs.
Briseno brings a background in journalism, collegiate athletics, and coaching to his role. He earned his bachelor's degree in Print Journalism from Utah State University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sports Management, with an expected graduation date of spring 2027.
In addition to his work in sports information, Briseno is entering his fifth year as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Utah State Eastern, where he works primarily with recruiting and defensive development.
Briseno has a passion for sports storytelling and athletics communications, with experience in writing, photography, digital media, and covering collegiate athletics. He enjoys helping showcase student-athletes and their accomplishments both on and off the field.
Briseno has lived in Price for the past six years and has been married to his wife, Breanna, for five years. Outside of athletics, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, playing golf, and watching sports.
