Alyssa Fitch enters her second season as the head volleyball coach at Utah State University Eastern.
Fitch returned to the Eagles program after previously serving as an assistant coach at USU Eastern from 2021-23. During her time as an assistant, Fitch helped lead the Eagles to a national tournament appearance, where the team finished 10th nationally. She also coached two All-Americans, Casidy Fried and Haley McUne. The Eagles made consecutive conference tournament appearances in 2022 and 2023, finishing as conference tournament runner-up in both seasons.
Before returning to USU Eastern as head coach, Fitch served as the head volleyball coach at Jordan High School in 2024.
Fitch was a three-year starter for the USU Eastern volleyball program as a player. During her playing career, she was an impact player who helped the Eagles reach several historic milestones. Fitch helped lead the program to its first-ever appearance in the conference championship, appearing in the championship match three consecutive years. She was also part of the first USU Eastern volleyball team to qualify for the national tournament, where the Eagles finished seventh nationally. In fall 2021, Fitch helped lead the Eagles to the program's first-ever conference championship.
Fitch earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and Deaf Education.
Fitch is married to Tyler Fitch, who played baseball at USU Eastern. The couple has one son.
