High School:  She has been dancing for 16 years and was on the drill team for 4 years.  She was danc captain for two of those years and Co-Captain for one.  She was in the top 10 at Miss Drill Utah and was awarded many dance overalls for solo routines throughout her time on the drill team, including the Wasatch invitational solo grand champion.  She was Academic All Region, on the 3A All-State team her senior year, and competed in the Top Corp competition at Epic dance and drill.  She was the dance sterling scholar and the region winner.  Irylan also participated in pageants and was Miss UBICs Outstanding Teen 2018 and Miss Duchesne County's Outstanding Teen 2020.  She competed at MUOT 2021 and finished as third runner up.  She was recognized for being a part of national honor society and graduated with high honors.

Personal:  She is the daughter of Flint and Crystal Tomlinson adn the second oldest of six children.

She enjoys reading, traveling, and trying all different kinds of foods.  Her favorite place is the beach and she could spend all day in the ocean.  She plans on double majoring in dance and dental hygiene.  She chose to come to USU Eastern to dance and complete her general education before applying for dental hygiene school.
