She has been dancing since she was three, and did solos since she was nine. In high school she did Drill team for her sophomore and junior year. Her senior year she went to cheer and they placed third in state in the coed division. She also did track and field her senior year where she did all the throwing events; discus, javelin, and shot put.

Chanla and Derek Weight are her parents, and there are five people total in her family. She is the oldest and only girl and she has two little brothers. Her and her siblings are six years apart, brexton who’s 12 and Bosten who’s 6. Her mom got a full ride scholarship for softball to UVU.

Most the time she likes to hang out with friends, but if she is not doing that she likes to read or play video games with her little brother. She is planning on going into journalism as her major, and she is on the school’s newspaper. She wanted to go to USU Eastern because there were a lot of opportunities and it’s a small campus so she would get more personal teaching experience when there’s only a few people in the class.
