Howdy was a four-year starter and team captain on the Union High School football team, playing center throughout his career. In addition to football, he qualified for the High School Rodeo State Finals all four years, showcasing his versatility and dedication as an athlete.

He is the son of Billy and Kris Jackson and has one sister, Baylee, who also competes in team roping. His family shares a passion for rodeo, spending winters in Morristown, Arizona training and raising rope horses, as well as participating in team roping futurities throughout the year.

He is 19 years old and an avid team roper and rope horse trainer. He enjoys competing in rodeo events and team roping jackpots and plans to study Business at Utah State University Eastern while continuing his athletic and equestrian pursuits.
