Brookelyn Trapnell, a freshman from Spanish Fork, Utah, competes in goat tying and barrel racing for USU Eastern Rodeo.

She was a dedicated member of the Utah High School Rodeo Association (UHSRA) and competed with the SUC Rodeo Club. One of her most memorable achievements was making it to the short go at the Icebreaker Rodeo in March. Brookelyn also competes in the National Little Britches Rodeo Association (NLBRA), where she has qualified for nationals two years in a row.

Brookelyn is the youngest of seven children, born to Susan Morwood and Brian Trapnell. While none of her siblings competed in college sports, all have pursued higher education.

Beyond rodeo, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, and boating. She chose USU Eastern for its flexible online learning options, allowing her to balance her education with her rodeo career.
