Biography
Sadie Holm began racing mountain bikes at a very early age and quickly developed a passion for the sport. While in high school, Holm competed in the Utah High School Mountain Bike League, earning multiple podium finishes throughout her career. As a freshman, she achieved several top-ten results and placed in the top 40 at the state championship. Sophomore year brought a move up to the JVA category, where Holm earned numerous podiums and finished in the top 15 at state. During junior and senior seasons, Holm competed at the varsity level, regularly earning podium finishes and closing out her senior year ranked 11th in the state. In addition to high school competition, Holm raced in USA Cycling–sponsored events, securing multiple podium finishes.
Holm is the second oldest of five children, born to Jake and Nicole Holm. While Holm’s parents did not compete in college athletics, her mom played basketball throughout high school and her dad has a long-time passion for mountain biking. The family loves to bike, travel, and spend time together outdoors.
Outside of competition, Holm enjoys anything that gets her outside in nature, whether it’s biking, hiking, or exploring with friends and family. She also enjoys playing guitar and piano. Holm chose to attend Utah State University Eastern for the opportunities it offers both academically and athletically and is excited to continue growing as both a student and an athlete.
