Utah State University

Sarah was a multi-sport athlete at the 6A level, excelling in both soccer and basketball. On the soccer field, she was a two-year varsity starter, serving as team captain her senior year and earning Second Team All-State honors. On the basketball court, she played three years of varsity, also captaining the team and receiving 6A Region 3 Honorable Mention recognition.

She is the daughter of Duane and CarrieAnn Newman and the fourth of five children. Growing up in a competitive, athletic family, she developed a strong work ethic, discipline, and teamwork that have shaped her both as an athlete and a person.

She is pursuing a degree in Nursing at Utah State University Eastern and is passionate about helping others through a career in healthcare while continuing her soccer career at the collegiate level.
