Biography
High School: Three-year varsity player for Petal. Named MVP of the Hattiesburg Coca-Cola Holiday Classic as a sophomore. During his junior season he helped Petal reach the second round of the playoffs and was named Defensive Player of the Year by his coaches. As a senior he averaged 12.0Â points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game leading his team to the second round of the playoffs for the second straight season.
Personal: Son of Donaval and Silvia Avila. Parents are originally from Livingston, Guatemala. Has three siblings. Father played semi-professional soccer. Away from basketball he enjoys playing other sports such as football and baseball. Plans on studying Kinesiology with plans to work in Sports Medicine.
