Adjalma "Vando" Becheli is entering his eighth season at the helm of the Utah State Eastern Men's Basketball program.
Previously he was an assistant basketball coach for the Utah State Eastern women's basketball team under former longtime head coach Dave Paur.
Before coaching the women's basketball team, Coach Vando was an assistant coach for the men's basketball team. While coaching the men's team he helped the Eagles finish third in the NJCAA and win a Region XVIII championship in 2010.
The Brazil native coached and played in Brazil for 20 years before coming to the United States. Coach Vando was also a liason for the Australian Women's National team in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Becheli and his wife Iamar live in Price and have one son, Felipe.
