Biography
Samuel Bromley hails from West Bromwich, UK, and brings a rich soccer background to USU Eastern. He started his journey with several semi-professional youth teams, including Halesowen Town, Alvechurch, and Gornal, achieving five cup finals victories and three league titles. At 17, Samuel joined Boldmere St Michael’s, playing for their U21s and reserve team, and frequently training with the first team. His college career includes representing West Bromwich Albion in two cup finals, winning one, and participating in an international tournament in Barcelona where his team finished third. Samuel also helped his college team secure this season's league title.
Samuel’s family has a strong soccer heritage. His father, Andrew, played high-level Saturday football and inspires Samuel with his experiences. His grandfather had a professional career with teams such as West Bromwich Albion, Walsall, and Notts County, and received call-ups for England Schoolboys. Samuel’s mother, Tracey, does not have a sporting background.
Samuel enjoys staying active through various sports and values downtime spent watching films or YouTube. He chose USU Eastern because of its supportive environment and the opportunity to excel both athletically and academically. Conversations with Coach Ryan and tutors left him feeling welcomed and assured about his decision.
