Her parents are Justin and Katie. Kelsy has an older brother, Dylan and a younger sister, Presly.

In high school Kelsy was a 3 year Varsity starter in Volleyball and Basketball. In volleyball her sophomore year she was named All Conference 2nd team, All State honorable mention, and helped her team win the runner up title at State. In Kelsy's junior year, her team earned the 3rd place title at State. That year she was named All State 1st team and All Conference 1st team while leading her team in blocks and aces. She finished out her high school career with an amazing 21-0 season, finally taking home the State Championship title- the first time in history for volleyball at Kimberly High School. Kelsy led her team in kills, was named All State 1st team and All Conference MVP- Player of The Year.

Kelsy danced competitively for 11 years and attributes that to much of her athleticism and competitive spirt. When she's not playing volleyball, she enjoys boating with her family, playing basketball with her brother, and hanging out with her sister. Kelsy was drawn to USUE because of their impressive volleyball and academic programs, and the hometown feel it provides.
