Reno Swarthout is a sophomore who previously attended Ottawa University and attended Stansbury High School, where she was on the Varsity cheer team for two years, serving as the team’s secretary during her senior year. Before high school, she spent six years on a competitive cheer team. Reno is skilled as both a main and secondary base and as a tumbler. At Ottawa University, she was named Rookie of the Year and received an honorable mention in the KCAC Conference.

Her parents are Charisse and Gregory Swarthout, and she has two brothers, Berkeley, who is older, and Houston, who is younger.

Reno is currently studying nursing while working towards her general associate's degree. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and paddle boarding and is excited to grow with her team and see what this season holds.
