Utah State University

Thiago has been the varsity goalkeeper since his sophomore year, leading his team to both a region and state championship that season. From that point forward, he earned All-Region recognition each year and capped off his high school career by being named to an All-State team as a senior. In addition to soccer, he also contributed as the kicker for his high school football team during his senior season.

He is the son of Liliana and Marcelo and has one younger brother, Bruno. With both of his parents originally from Uruguay, he takes pride in being the first in his family to attend college in the United States—and the first to play collegiate athletics. Their support has been central to his success both in school and in sports.

Outside of athletics, he enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, spending time with friends, and being outdoors. He chose to attend Utah State University Eastern to continue his soccer career while also pursuing his academic goals.
